The IHST Lands on Facebook and Twitter

The International Helicopter Safety Team has launched social media profiles aimed at increasing awareness of the organization mission to reduce the civil helicopter accident rate by 80 per cent by 2016. American Eurocopter, a partner with the IHST, created the profiles in Facebook and Twitter, and has worked with IHST on the development of a social media strategy. Long considered a contractual prerequisite for large operators supporting the offshore oil and gas industry, HFDM is now making inroads with smaller operators around the globe.
